Gas Boiler

A gas boiler is a vessel, which produce steam by heating water. This produced steam is piped to the work place where it can be utilized to run the production units, to sanitize an area, to sterilize equipments, to warm up the surroundings, to heat up the water, to produce electricity etc.

Gas boiler normally extract air, which is, require for combustion either from inside the heated area or straight from the outside. Extracting air from outside, characteristically via a plastic pipe that moves through an outside wall, is more effective and secure.

This system in gas boiler is generally referred to as ‘sealed combustion’, since the gas is burned in a burning chamber of gas boiler that is blocked to engaged areas. This arrangement almost removes any hazard of blasting gas boiler in the event of combustion gases seeping out into engaged areas.

The efficiency of gas boiler can be more increased by incorporating motorized dampers that block the flue pipe outlet when the gas boiler is not in use. This procedure helps in preventing the loss of heated room air between boiler cycles

Another procedure to increase the efficiency of gas boiler is by using electric ignition.

Gas boiler efficiency also is enhanced by the combustion systems that are assisted by fan. This does not call for a very big natural draft chimney, and it can be relieved through a minor flue pipe straight through a wall. Gas boiler, in reality, operates best at full load. Conventional boiler burn fuel in a combustion chamber surrounded by a water jacket. Heat warms the water, which is then circulated around the heating system.

Condensing boilers are high efficiency boilers that waste no heat out of the flue. These boilers are environmental friendly, but work only in the condensing mode when the working conditions are correct.

Combination boiler provides both instant hot water and central heating but not provide both at the same time. This boiler is  "hot water priority", which means that when hot water is being run in boiler there is no heat output to the radiators. Due to low water rate it can only feed one tap at a time.

Each gas boiler can frequently function close to its full load, which is the very important yardstick for a gas boiler to function in an effective manner.
